SYSTIME had to increase the overall efficiency by automation of the print shop floor activities by providing seamless integration with the existing systems thereby meeting the current as well as future digital print work flow requirements. Client wanted the proposed system to eliminate the existing manual style of intervention by providing user friendly, flexible, productive, reliable and scalable result and reduce the overall cycle time delay.

SYSTIME worked with the client to manage their workflow and print shop floor activities by delivering world-class production management system. The compounding of the Global Delivery Model and SYS-on-TIME™ Methodology ensured a smooth transition for effectively implementing the solution.
The web based digital print work flow solution is being developed using the Java platform. Operating system under consideration was SUN Solaris and database Oracle 10g. The digital print work flow solution allows the shop floor personnel to track the job assigned to the users and calculate order pricing dynamically as per business rules defined.
Solution made provisions for integration of the existing system as well as leading third party shippers like UPS or DHL to meet their business requirements. Solution also provided graphical user interface in terms of dashboard to monitor and manage the print job successfully.
