Multinational supplier successfully upgrades on time, within budget, with minimal business downtime

By upgrading its install of Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne from 8.10 to 9.0, the global enterprise retained a consolidated, unified platform, on time and within budget. Manufacturing operations could not accommodate lengthy downtimes, meaning the upgrade needed to be carefully planned and efficiently executed. Taking this into account, SYSTIME adopted an innovative methodology that could isolate and rework the conversion process, thereby saving about 18 hours from the time required for Tredegar's table conversions.

As a result, Tredegar was able to successfully upgrade to JD Edwards 9.0, with minimal disruption to its operations. The business has successfully established a robust, state-of-the-art technical base, strong enough to support its expanding global JD Edwards operations. It has made localization improvements and established the framework required for migration to future releases and new technology.
